Yes, you can. This process involves sending cryptocurrency between two wallets. If you’ve not done that before, we recommend only withdrawing a small amount, to begin with, in case you send your funds to an unknown or nonexistent wallet (as it’s doubtful you’d ever see those funds again). You’ll need two things in place before you go any further:
A crypto wallet connected to Jungle. (in the example below, we use MetaMask)
An account with a cryptocurrency exchange. (in the example below, we use Coinbase)
Step 1: Withdraw ETH from MetaMask and send it to Coinbase.
Copy your ETH address from your Coinbase account (please note that you should not send NFTs to this address - it’s connected to your Coinbase account and for ETH cryptocurrency only).
Go to MetaMask.
Click the ‘Send’ button.
You’ll be prompted to add a recipient address. Add your Coinbase ETH address.
Set transfer amount.
Click ‘Next.’
Review the estimated gas fee and total amount.
Confirm transfer.
As the transaction of your ETH from MetaMask to Coinbase needs to be confirmed on the Ethereum network, it can take a few minutes for it to appear on Coinbase.
Step 2: Swap your ETH for your local currency of choice by ‘selling’ the amount of crypto you want to withdraw and then cashing that out.
Once the funds you transferred from your crypto wallet appear in your crypto exchange account, you can swap your ETH for other currencies within your exchange account by ‘selling’ it.
Set the amount that you want to sell.
Then head to the local currency you want to withdraw.
In the ‘cash out’ tab, enter the amount you want to withdraw in this local currency.
You’ll be prompted to add the bank account or other location to send the cash to.
