What is KYC, and why do we do it?
Jungle requires KYC verification from its sellers to safeguard the users' well-being and prevent fraudulent activities related to transactions and sales conducted through its platform.
This process involves sellers providing a form of Government issued identification and a live capture selfie for validation. Once completed, users can confidently and securely utilize the Jungle marketplace.
KYC exceptions
If you list an item from a verified collection, an additional KYC on Jungle will not be required.
Completing the verification process
To complete the KYC verification process on Jungle, the system requires you to upload an image of your ID and a live photo to confirm your identity. When you take the ID picture, please ensure that all critical information, such as your name, date of birth, the image on the ID, and ID number, are visible and do not have a shadow over them.
To achieve this, ensure that the pictures are taken in a well-lit environment and there are no obstructions that may make it difficult to see the critical information. It is essential to avoid wearing sunglasses, hats, or caps that are not present in the ID picture, as this can affect the clarity of the picture.
By following these guidelines, the system can automatically verify your identity and clear your verification process, allowing you to enjoy the full benefits of trading NFTs on Jungle.

You have three attempts to complete the KYC process successfully. You can contact customer support via Chatbot if you fail all three attempts.
We will never ask you to send personal information such as passport or identification copies.
